Ellen Hirvela Russell is a trained Divorce Mediator and Collaborative Attorney, with 17 years of legal experience. Now providing legal services for Ventura County and Los Angeles County clients. Mrs. Russell is also a former Supervising Family Support Officer with the County of Ventura District Attorney Child Support Division (under former Ventura District Attorney, Michael Bradbury) Mrs. Russell brings to the table years of experience and competent practice in Ventura and Los Angeles County.

Representing parties in Collaborative Divorce since 2002, Ellen Hirvela Russell provides  NO COURT DIVORCE services, guiding families through a more respectful divorce process.

As a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, IACP, Ellen stays current on the Collaborative Divorce movement. She is a former Delegate to CP California, and currently an Executive Board Member of the Coalition for Collaborative Divorce, "CCD," serving Los Angeles and Ventura County.

Admitted to the Practice of Law in 1993, Mrs. Russell has represented clients in Divorce, Child Support, Spousal Support and Child Custody matters, and handled issues that arise concerning property disputes. She has also handled child custody and move away cases in Los Angeles and Ventura County since 1994.

Currently, the focus of her practice is NO COURT DIVORCE, whether it be Mediation, Collaborative Law, or a DO IT YOURSELF DIVORCE in which Mrs. Russell provides LEGAL CONSULTING SERVICES, Ellen is dedicated to helping parties with a process that suits their family's needs.

In addition to "NO COURT DIVORCE" services, Ellen Hirvela Russell provides other legal services, such as drafting legal documents: Marital Settlement Agreements, Stipulations, Prenuptial Agreements, "PRENUPS,  and more.

Ellen Hirvela Russell, earned her J.D. at the Ventura College of Law, and her Mediation Certification from UCSB. Ellen is  a trained Collaborative Professional and member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (IACP,) since 2002. Ellen is a Board Member and  Past President of the Coalition for Collaborative Divorce, "CCD," a nonprofit organizatio of Collaborative Professionals serving clients in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles and Ventura County, providing Collaborative Law services. .

Living and working in Ventura County since 1973, Ellen raised her two children locally.  She and her husband are Camarillo residents.
